 Emily Shane O.B.M.

  עמנואלה ע"ה בת מאיר שיחי

Emily Shane was a 13 year old girl that was struck by a suicidal driver on the Pacific Coast Highway. This tragedy has affected not only her family but also her friends and our community at large. Emily was a daughter of the community; she was all about helping others, laughing and being a listening ear to her friends.

She was the kind of person who welcomed new students to the school asked the child who was sitting alone at the lunch table to join her and made people laugh all the time.

Emily left a positive impression on anyone who she met. She was filled with compassion and empathy for others.

In the immediate aftermath of Emily’s passing, her parents, Ellen and Michel, decided to honor Emily’s soul by starting a campaign of goodness and kindness.

Titled “paying it forward.” Here is how it works; one person does a good deed for someone else, then the recipient does a good deed for someone else, and the cycle continues.

Would you like donate some of your time for this special cause?

Would you like to participate but not sure how?

Write us an email at [email protected] please put “Pay it forward” in the subject line. Someone will contact you within 24 hours.

Thank you, and thank you for honoring Emily
